Alive by the Bay coming back to Bay Shore

Following its successful inaugural season, the Alive by the Bay Festival will take place in Bay Shore again this year. The fun kicks off soon and features art, music, entertainment, and dining. The festival is held biweekly during the summer months.

Live music appearances begin on July 10, when Drop Dead Sexy will appear on the 3rd Avenue stage; the J Haus Band is scheduled for the 4th Avenue Stage; and Uppercut will take over Boulton Center stage.

July 24 brings Tradewinds to the 3rd Avenue stage; Jimmy Kenny & the Pirate Beach Band work the 4th Avenue stage; and the Boulton Center stage will be home to Touch the 80's.

On August 7, the Peat Moss Reunion Show performs on the 3rd Avenue stage; the No Request Band is at the 4th Avenue stage; and One Step Ahead steps onto the Boulton Center stage.

The August 24 lineup brings The Nerds to the 3rd Avenue stage; Rich Mahogany to 4th Avenue; and 45 RPM will appear on the Boulton Center stage.

This year, the festival will be held on Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays, and takes place on Main Street, from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm.
