Vegas awaits security conference

A conference for security professionals is coming up in Las Vegas.

The International Security Conference & Exposition (ISC West) is the leading security gathering in the nation. Attendees will be able to meet and network with thousands of public safety and security professionals, learn from programs from the Security Industry Association, and explore the latest developments and technology in video surveillance, monitoring, alarms, and access controls. They will also have a chance to learn about the latest trends in the Smart Home, Cybersecurity for Connected IoT, robotics, drones, and more.

Conferences such as this often feature educational sessions as well as vendors. As is customary, the expo offers several “tracks,” with corresponding seminars in each. This means a lot of sessions are taking place at one time, so attendees must plan their schedules carefully. Tracks include Cybersecurity & IT, which has six sessions; Business Development, which has three; and Artificial Intelligence & Digital Transformation, which has four.

A wide range of vendors of security services and devices will also be on hand, with products that range from door locks to CCTV systems and monitoring services.

In addition to vendors, classes, and chances for networking, special events are also planned at the conference. These include the SIA’s Annual Membership Meeting, and the SIA Market Leaders Reception.
