Metalworkers to meet in Las Vegas

A trade show especially for metal fabricators, welders, and finishers is coming to Las Vegas.

FABTECH is a comprehensive event that has been bringing professionals in the metal fabrication industry together for over 40 years. Attendees will be able to learn about new technologies, speak with industry leaders, attend sessions specifically aimed at the issues facing the industry, and learn workable strategies that will help accelerate growth, cut costs, and enhance productivity.

Keynote speakers are Amber Mac, Jerry Rice, and Steve Darnell. Amber Mac is known for hosting her eponymous podcast, as well as the “This is Mining” series. She often speaks on the topic of emerging technology and artificial intelligence (AI). Jerry Rice, who is a three-time Super Bowl champion, is often seen as the NFL’s best-ever wide receiver. He is also a broadcaster and brand ambassador. Steve Darnell is the mastermind of the series “Vegas Rat Rods” on the Discovery Channel, and is behind Welder Up, the fabrication and rat rod shop in Las Vegas.

Classes and informative panels will cover subjects such as building a workforce and retaining employees, and how fabricators can capture funding they are currently leaving “on the table.”

Event organizers expect more than 31,000 people to attend the show, where there will be 1,400 exhibits displayed across over 700,000 square feet. FABTECH 2026 is scheduled for October 21 to 23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Business Cards are a powerful tool for engagement and are often exchanged at events like this.
