Security professionals meet in Las Vegas

An upcoming conference will give security professionals a chance to discuss the ways in which physical and digital security are converging, and what this means for the industry.

The sponsor of this year’s ISC West conference is the Security Industry Association (SIA), a non-profit trade association with international membership of approximately 1,100 companies. These organizations help support both physical and electronic security products and systems.

The first day includes a networking reception and a reception for market leaders. The conference kicks off on the second day with a keynote address. The speaker is Paul Eckloff, who spent 23 years in the Secret Service, discussing “The Battlefield Beyond the Fence,” a reference to the fact that hardware, no matter how sophisticated, will fail without human judgment. He applies this to national security.

Sharing the stage will be Haywood Talcove, CEO of Government at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. He will discuss the ways in which companies can apply national security solutions to government and private sector problems.

The day also includes networking opportunities and a chance to help families in need. Other conference events include a run/walk, a second keynote address on AI and security, a Latin American breakfast, and a third keynote, “The Human Nature of Cyber Security.”

This information-packed conference is scheduled for March 23-27 at the Venetian Expo. Major events like this can benefit when organizers work with brochure printing to create a pamphlet for attendees including floorplans, schedules, and speakers.
