Fun convention in Las Vegas

San Diego started it, but now Comic Cons appear everywhere, including Las Vegas.

Amazing Comic Conventions is the organizer of the upcoming Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con, which will be held in Hall North 1 of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Unlike the mammoth event in San Diego – which often features trailers of upcoming films and television series, and appearances by actors, directors, and artists in addition to comics – the Las Vegas event focuses more narrowly on the graphic arts.

In Las Vegas, attendees will have a chance to meet their favorite writers, artists, and voice actors. Among those scheduled to attend are Kevin Eastman, who is the creator of the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” and iconic artist John Romita, Jr., who works on “Superman,” “Daredevil,” “Thor,” “Spider-Man,” and more. In all, 31 artists are scheduled to attend.

The talented voice actors who bring animated characters to life are also scheduled to attend. These include Tara Strong, who provides the voices of Twilight Sparkle, Bubbles, Raven, Harley Quinn, and others. Also present will be Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario. Ten voice artists will be at the event, as will celebrity guests and actors. Fans will also have fun browsing through an Artists’ Alley and an Exhibitors’ area.

The convention is scheduled for April 28, 29, and 30. Major events like this can be hectic and hard to navigate, but organizers can help by using flyer printing to create handouts, including maps and schedules.
