Ergonomics is an applied science that seeks to make humans comfortable while they work so they can be more productive. A conference in Las Vegas will soon bring together experts in this field.
The 30th 2024 Annual National Ergonomics Conference & ErgoExpo is scheduled for the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. It is the largest conference of its type in the nation, and will offer attendees the chance to meet and learn from the top safety and ergonomics professionals in the country. There are more than 40 educational workshops, keynote speeches, and sessions planned.
Attendees will also get a chance to see a wide range of the latest products, from solutions that automate work, to patient handling, to exosuits and office seating options. Most people are probably most familiar with ergonomics in terms of office furniture, where an uncomfortable seat and looking at a computer from an odd angle result in back pain and other issues.
Conferencegoers will have a chance to network with others in their profession, and to learn the results of various case studies that suggest what the future of workplace design, wearable technology, and injury prevention might be. In addition, they will be able to meet with vendors who have the latest products available.
