Convention takes flight in Vegas

An upcoming event organized by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) will provide members of the business aviation community an opportunity to share information about the latest innovations in the industry.

The upcoming NBAA-BACE (Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition) is the largest event in the world aimed specifically at business aviation, a segment defined as any use of general aviation aircraft for business purposes. The Federal Aviation Administration describes general aviation as any flights not flown by scheduled airlines or the military, meaning business aviation is the segment of general aviation that uses helicopters and aircraft for business purposes, such as charters.

Convention attendees will be able to meet and interact with thousands of other industry professionals, learn about new technologies in aviation, and aviation sustainability and safety. Among the planned sessions are discussions on leadership, the career path of a scheduler/dispatcher, air charters, security, and many more.

The keynote speakers for the event are world-famous tennis professionals Andre Agassi and
Stefanie Graf. However, they are speaking not as sports figures, but as inspiring philanthropists. Agassi, a Las Vegas native, founded the Agassi Foundation for Education, and Graf is the founder of Children for Tomorrow.

The NBAA-BACE is scheduled for October 17-19, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with aircraft on display at Henderson Executive Airport. Events such as this provide a great opportunity for networking and are often see as the perfect occasion for the exchange of Business Cards.
