Conference for RFID experts in Vegas

An upcoming conference will bring together experts in RFID technology.

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a type of wireless communication that uniquely identifies a person, animal, or object using the radio frequency part of the electromagnetic spectrum. The conference, RFID Journal LIVE!, is the largest exhibition and conference in the world focused exclusively on RFID and technologies related to it.

This is the 23rd year for the conference, which on average brings in over 100 exhibitors from around the world. Exhibitors will showcase the best RFID tags, software, readers, and implementation services. They also introduce new products, giving attendees a chance to be the first to see what’s coming to the market.

Since the conference draws a global audience, it also provides the international RFID community with unique educational opportunities. There will be three days of how-to and industry-specific tracks for those with narrow interests; presentations include “Linking RFID to Inventory-Management Best Practices,” and “Combating Retail Theft: A Real-World Guide.”

There will be a more general education approach for those just learning about RFID and the market, as well as keynote speeches by industry experts. The educational components of the conference are designed specifically to help attendees network, plan strategies, share ideas, buy and sell, and learn.

RFID Journal Live! Is scheduled for May 6-8 at Paris Las Vegas. When they develop events like this, organizers often use flyer printing to create handouts for attendees, including an agenda.
