Comedian to call in on Kimmels in Vegas
A comedian, writer, and actor who has found success in television will be spending some time in Las Vegas.
Josh Wolf is known for appearing regularly on E!’s “Chelsea Lately,” a late-night talk show hosted by Chelsea Handler, and is part of the stand-up tour, “Comedians of Chelsea Lately.” He has opened for Chelsea Handler herself, and written scripts for several sitcoms, such as “Cuts” and “All of Us.”
Wolf was born in Boston and started doing comedy when he was 16. He moved to Seattle, and then to Los Angeles, where he was discovered while he performed at the HBO Workspace. ABC gave him a two-year contract to create his own show, but instead he began writing for sitcoms. He hosted a podcast, “The Josh Wolf Show,” for two years, and was one of the hosts of Discovery’s Shark Week, emceeing “Shark After Dark Live.”
He also takes most of his material from his own life as a single dad, which is the basis of his best-selling book, “It Takes Balls: Dating Single Moms and Other Confessions from an Unprepared Single Dad.” Oddly enough, Wolf says, he was married by the time he sold the book to a publisher.
Josh Wolf will be at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club at The LINQ next Monday, May 1. Audiences at events like this often enjoy learning about the performer, which can be presented in programs organizers create using brochure printing.
