Members of Henderson’s visually impaired community can join in the excitement of the traditional activity of an egg hunt next month.
The Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation (NBCF) will be hosting an egg hunt, but this event will have a feature that will make it stand apart. The Children will be searching “beeping” eggs, which use a sound cue so that they can be found by kids who are visually impaired.
Along with searching for the beeping eggs, the participants in the morning will be able to make some crafts, play games and enjoy a hearty lunch. It is a free activity for NBCF families, and to help make planning the function easier, the organizers have requested that parents register their child and his or her siblings that will also be attending ahead of time.
Arranging an annual event like this can be a lot of work, but Print shops can help to lighten the load. They can work with the organizers, and if special materials are required for the occasion, the printer's staff can work with the customers to customize printed items so they meet their needs.
NBCF is hoping that all its families will choose to attend this springtime celebration, which will be held on April 4. The final day to register to participate is April 2.
