New math program for elementary students in Wall Township schools
A new mathematics program will be added to the curriculum for Wall Township students this academic year.
EnVision MATH 2.0, which is aligned with the state’s New Jersey Standards for Student Learning, is designed to help young learners develop an conceptual understanding of math through a variety of measures, such as visual learning animations, problem-based interactive learning, and visual learning bridges. It is also intended to challenge students while encouraging them to explore how these techniques can be applied to their everyday lives.
A review of the program was provided by The What Works Clearinghouse and EduReports.org , finding it to provide a high level of instruction in mathematics and give students a good depth of knowledge in the subject.
