As summer draws to a close and the fall harvest begins, a Wall Township area historic venue is preparing to celebrate the change in seasons with a special two-day event.
The Historic Village at Allaire has set the dates for its Fall Harvest Festival, where all ages are welcome. Tickets are for one day only, and their price starts at $5 for kids and $10 for adults. Further donations will also be appreciated.
Visitors to the venue will be invited to try their hand at pressing apples for cider, and an apple pie baking contest is also in the works. They can spend some time with the farm animals, and there will be free glitter tattoos, music, local craft vendors, and a wood carver, and historic demonstrations are on the agenda as well. The bakery and general store will be open.
Any signage or other printed materials used during outdoor activities will need to be able to withstand the weather. A banner printing company can lend a hand, and will have options on offer at a variety of price points.
The annual Fall Harvest Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 21 and 22. The Historic Village at Allaire is located at 4263 Atlantic Avenue West in Wall Township, and passes may be purchased in advance through its web listing.
