The Vintage Computer Federation has announced that it will once again be holding an event that will give Wall Township techies a chance to score some items for their collection.
The group’s swap meet and fundraiser will be on offer next weekend, and it will give vintage tech fans plenty to browse through. Vendor setup will open an hour before its scheduled start time, the organizers can be contacted at 732-722-5015.
Admission has been set at $5, or free for kids aged 12 and under. There will be technology ranging from computers to TVs, ham and other radios, and a variety of other electronics, and Boardwalk Bites will be parked on site. Vendor spaces may be booked starting at $20, and each will be 20 feet long by 20 feet wide. Sellers may choose to sell out of their vehicle or set up a table. A “free pile” will be available, but items left must be removed at the end of the day.
Computer-related events may attract attention from area “tech heads”, and many organizers make use of social media marketing. A Print company can offer Graphic Design Services, providing logos and other graphics that can be added to websites and other online spaces.
The next VCF Technology Swap Meet and Fundraiser will bring computer-themed fun to 800 Monmouth Boulevard on Saturday, June 7. Its gates will open to the public at 8:00 am.
