The Ultimate Donner Summer Tribute Concert will take place at the Mayo Performance Arts Center (MPAC) on South Street, Morristown this month – just a few miles from East Hanover.
Synonymous with disco music, Summer is one of the most iconic singers of the 1970s. Rainere Martin prides herself in recreating some of her popular tunes and reviving her memory by capturing Summer’s sound and style.
The Ultimate Donna Summer Tribute will see Martin perform hits such as Hot Stuff, McArthur Park, and Bad Girls. Other details about the concert are available online, with graphic design effects that encapsulate the essence of disco and ‘70s music.
Martin, who has appeared on the TV show ‘Showtime at the Apollo’, built on that experience by carving out her niche of ‘70s and the ‘Queen of Disco’, Donna Summer. This led to a series of tribute live performances in front of large crowds. As well as this, she has been involved in a range of performance arts from a tender age, including motion pictures, videos, and TV shows.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, limited tickets are available, and they are currently going for $50 and $70. With only 150 places available, those interested should book theirs as soon as possible.
The concert will be taking place on October 24, with shows at 3:00 pm and 7:30 pm. Places can be booked via the venue’s website.
