A fun festival is scheduled soon in Madison, a short distance from East Hanover.
The Giralda Music and Arts Festival will give attendees the opportunity to relax and listen to classical music while enjoying the beauty of Giralda Farms Corporate Park. Among the planned activities are an art show where people will be able to purchase works, children’s activities, and a picnic contest. A tradition of Morris Arts, prizes will be awarded to the most creative picnics packed that day.
The special guests at the event will be the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, who have programmed a concert featuring inspiring composers from throughout the Americas. These artists include Oscar Lorenzo Fernández, Petro Elias Gutiérrez, John Williams, and the late George Walker, who was a New Jersey resident and the first Black composer to win a Pulitzer for Music.
Also on the program is “Nimble Feet” by the legendary Florence Price, which was included in her “Dances in the Canebrakes,” and the iconic “Saturday Night Waltz” from the ballet “Rodeo” by Aaron Copeland. There will be plenty of patriotic tunes as well. To create attractive programs for this type of event, organizers often turn to brochure printing.
The Giralda Music and Arts Festival is scheduled for 5.00 pm on August 28 at Giralda Farms in Madison. Gates will open at 3.00 pm. This is the 37th festival and returns a greatly treasured tradition to the local area. In case of bad weather, the rain date is August 29.
