The Cotton Club Brunch Experience will be put on again this year by the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, an event that benefits students of Montclair and surrounding communities, including East Hanover.
The Cotton Club Brunch Experience is the main fundraising event for M.A.S.K. (Maximizing Academic Scholarship and Knowledge). This event benefits local students and encourages them to strive for academic greatness. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards scholarships for students, as well as community service programs. The group has awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships total from past years, and hopes to continue this trend.
As the name implies, brunch will be available at this event. There will be entertainment, music, and other activities. Cocktail wear is advised for this event. Tickets are currently available for $95 each, with an optional donation available as well.
The brunch and activities will be hosted at The Hanover Manor, a historic house in East Hanover that is often used for special events like this one. Parking is available on site for attendees for free.
This type of event often uses flyer printing, as there are already at least two potential designs, and Flyers are easily mailed to members of the sorority as well as previous attendants of this event. This event will run from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 10.
