East Hanover to enjoy fun and fireworks
Next month, the East Hanover PBA Local 227 Civic Association, Inc., will present the East Hanover PBA Food Trucks and Fireworks Festival to raise funds for its charitable efforts.
The East Hanover PBA Local 227 is the regional chapter of the New Jersey Policeman’s Benevolent Society. The society as a whole and its numerous related chapters function as a nonprofit organization that helps local charities, youth organizations, and community nonprofits. The festival happening in June is one such fundraiser that serves to connect the community, as well as raise money for the East Hanover Civic Association.
The festival will feature 20 of the most popular food trucks around East Hanover, as well as many other non-food vendors selling artisan wares, apparel, jewelry, and home decor. There will also be live music from The Nerds, a local rock and roll cover band. Other activities include children’s games and bounce houses. The fireworks show will begin after the musical performances have ended.
Outdoor festivals like this will usually be decorated with vibrant banners throughout the venue. Event organizers can visit local print shops specializing in banner printing services to prepare such materials.
The food truck and fireworks festival is slated for Saturday, June 7 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. It will be held at Lurker Park, located at 25 Johnson Place.
