East Hanover princess tea to be mermaid-themed

Next month, East Hanover children and their moms or caregivers will get to enjoy a special tea with Princess Ariel at the Mommy & Me Tea Party.

Founded in 2004 by Susan Donlan, Parteaz is an event-planning organization specializing in custom-made events for girls, boys, and women of all ages. The events typically focus on providing a princess-themed atmosphere, and they range from tea parties to summer camp sessions. The Mommy & Me Tea Party is an ongoing tea event series that focuses on organizing princess high tea events for children and their mother figures. Each tea features a different princess character, with the May event featuring Princess Ariel from the Little Mermaid.

The tea will include a selection of food such as fresh fruit, assorted finger sandwiches, scones with fresh lemon curd and drinks such as apple juice, pink lemonade, and hot tea. Attendees will also get the chance to decorate their own cupcake for dessert. Every child will receive special crowns, jewels, and fairy dust from Ariel.

Themed events such as this will often be advertised on detailed Flyers, which can be printed at shops specializing in flyer printing, and distributed in locations such as community centers.

The princess tea is scheduled for May 19 from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Parteaz is located at 50 NJ-10 West. Tickets are $35.
