East Hanover joins music festival

Downtown Chester will be hosting a music festival, only about six miles from East Hanover. The event will be outdoors, features two main stages, and is entirely free.

This event is sponsored by the Historic Chester Business Association, and will feature two headliners, as well as multiple other performers. Frontiers is one of the headliners, and is a Journey tribute band. The other headliner is Diamonds of the Moon, paying homage to Pink Floyd.

Frontiers will be performing on the Perry Street stage, along with two other groups, while Diamonds of the Moon will take the Grove Street stage. There will also be performers in two courtyards, at both on Main Street. One musician, Chris Holmes, will be strolling and performing.

This event is taking place entirely in the downtown area of Chester, and businesses will be open during performances. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, as well as sunglasses and sunscreen.

Free parking is available for the event at Dickerson/Bragg High School, off State Route 24. Shuttles will be running to and from the event for free throughout the day, as well. Attendees should be aware that there will likely be a higher volume of traffic than normal in the area, and should plan accordingly.

Events like this often use flyer printing, to mail or hand out in the area. This event is free, and will run from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 10.
