In February, East Hanover Girl Scouts will have the chance to participate in the Daisy Mommy & Me Tea Party.
The tea party will be hosted by Parteaz, a local party event venue that holds various themed parties, teas, and classes for girls and women of all ages. The Daisy Mommy & Me Tea Party is designed specifically for Girl Scouts ages three through seven, and it will be led by an official Girl Scout Leader. The participants will be able to earn their “Considerate and Caring” Daisy Petal Badge by attending the event.
The event will teach good tea party etiquette in a fun yet elegant atmosphere. Refreshments at the party will include delicate tea sandwiches, an assortment of fruit, and “tea” (lemonade or juice). The attendees will also have fun making a keepsake craft and decorating Daisy cupcakes. Events involving crafts for kids often utilize printed materials that can be created at local Stationery printers.
The Daisy Mommy & Me Tea Party will take place on February 12 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Parteaz is located at 50 NJ-10 West, East Hanover. Tickets are $30 per person, and class capacity is capped out at 30 students. There will be a 10% discount for any siblings companying the Girl Scout participants.
