The WINGS Cancer Support Group will be holding the benefit event called WINGS 10+2 Years Strong Gala to celebrate it members and supporters.
WINGS is a support group for East Hanover women who have cancer or who are cancer survivors. Its monthly meetings focus on a different holistic modality, or holistic treatment technique, every month and feature different presenters to demonstrate those techniques during the first part of the meeting. Some examples of these modalities are breathing mediation, journaling, and reiki.
The gala will celebrate all the members and supporters, including founder Lynn Ferrer and sponsors Maureen and John Milmoe of Sharkey's. The event will feature musical entertainment by the award-winning Eclipse Events, and Rob Magnotti, impressionist and comedian, will also be present to drum up laughs. Ticket prices will include a buffet and a selection of wine, beer, and soda. A cash bar will be serving other drinks for additional purchase. Guests will also enjoy raffles, including a 50/50 raffle.
