Turtle Back Zoo will host the Sea Turtle Sunrise VIP event this July in West Orange near East Hanover for anyone interested in an exclusive experience that also supports animal conservation.
Turtle Back Zoo is in West Orange, just seven miles from East Hanover, and is widely proclaimed as one of New Jersey’s best zoos. The zoo is situated on 20 acres of the South Mountain Reservation, which is part of the Essex County Park System, one of the oldest county park systems in the country. As part of community engagement, the zoo often holds special events to get people excited about conservation and ecology.
The Sea Turtle Sunrise event will feature early morning interactions with zoo animals before the zoo opens to the general public, as well as a special breakfast. Admission tickets will include one gourmet donut, one beverage of choice (coffee or orange juice) and access to the zoo two hours early. Proceeds raised from ticket sales will go towards Sea Turtle Recovery.
