Next month, the Morristown Area Fortitude Foundation and Morristown Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., will host their annual Tricky Tray Luncheon: The Mystery of the Masquerade event in the Hanover Township, should anyone in East Hanover be interested in attending.
The Morristown Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, along with its cousin the Fortitude Foundation, is an active participant in helping underserved populations the surrounding communities. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., is a service-oriented sorority that was established in 1913 and comprises predominantly Black, college-educated women wishing to make a difference in their communities.
The Tricky Tray Luncheon is an annual fundraiser to raise money for the various programs overseen by the organization. The theme of the luncheon will be a masquerade ball, with fancy outfits and masks encouraged. There will be over 200 prizes and gift baskets to be won, with items ranging from kitchen appliances to designer handbags.
Many people find that charity events like this also provide an ideal opportunity for networking with prominent figures in the community. As such, attendees may decide to update their Business Cards to prepare for the event.
The Tricky Tray Luncheon is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, beginning at 11:00 am. It will be held at the Hanover Marriott, which is at 1401 Route 10 East. Tickets are $75.
