Area gala to celebrate East Hanover African American law professionals

Next month in the Florham Park and East Hanover area, the Garden State Bar Association (GSBA) will present the 48th Anniversary Scholarship & Awards Gala, an event celebrating African American and other ethnic minorities in the law field.

GSBA is New Jery’s largest and oldest professional organization supporting African American and other people of color who are lawyers, judges, and law students. The organization was founded to ensure that traditionally marginalized groups gain and maintain permanence in the legal field. Since 1975, GSBA has provided scholarships and funding to assist African Americans and other minorities in this endeavor.

The gala theme this year will be “Standing on the Shoulders of Excellence.” The event will be sponsored with the support of law firm, corporate, and individual sponsors who recognize the importance of the organization and its efforts in the legal community. There will be several awards given out, including The Roger M. Yancy Award, The Van Y. Clinton Award, and the Corporate Lawyer of the Year Award.

Advertising elegant events like this may often include creating fancy Invitations and advertising materials, which can be professionally printed at local Stationery printers.

The scholarship gala is scheduled for August 19 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. It will be held at Brooklake Country Club located at 139 Brooklake Road, Florham Park, just five miles from East Hanover.
