Annual gala to benefit substance abuse treatment center

Next month in Florham Park, Turning Point will hold its annual Evening of Hope & Recovery Gala to raise funds for its substance abuse disorder treatment programs.

Founded in 1975, the non-profit organization Turning Point has expanded and evolved to be one of the top substance abuse treatment centers in New Jersey. The organization’s mission is not only to help individuals cope with their drug and alcohol addictions but also equip these individuals with resources to deal with life’s everyday challenges. October’s gala event will serve to support the programs financially and shed light on substance abuse problems in the community.

The gala will begin with a reception where guests can socialize and network over appetizers and cocktails. Such social events often mean that attendees may decide to stock up on Business Cards to give out to establish new connections. After the reception, there will be a sit-down dinner, complete with live entertainment, a 50/50 raffle, and a silent auction.

The Evening of Hope & Recovery Gala is scheduled for October 21, beginning at 6:00 pm. The venue will be the Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, just minutes away from East Hanover. Individual tickets are $195, as well as a range of sponsoring packages of varying amounts. Those interested can visit Turning Point’s event page to find out more.
