Native American celebration returning to East Brunswick

The Raritan Native American Heritage Celebration & Pow Wow 2026 is coming to the Middlesex County Fairgrounds in East Brunswick this June.

The event will be a two-day celebration of Native American culture and will feature a variety of foods, music, art, and contest dancing.

This is an outdoor event and a family occasion that is open to the public, and provides an opportunity for the local community to connect with Native American artists, singers, vendors, as well as dancers and educators.

More than forty artists and vendor booths are expected to be set up. Other programs include Women’s Fancy Shawl specials, tipi raising, and displays of Native jewelry and crafts.

The highlight of the show is the Grand Entry of Dancers, which will take place in the afternoon between 1 and 5 p.m. For banner and poster printing, vendors and organizers are expected to turn to nearby printing services. Parking will be free for attendees. It is an outdoor event, and will take place rain or shine.

The festival will take place on Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, at the Middlesex County Fairgrounds, 655 Cranbury Road. The timing on both days is between 11 am and 7 pm. Ticket prices for adults and teens aged 13 and over are $15. Seniors aged 65 and over and students with ID are $10. Children aged 5 and under are admitted free.
