In The Cooking Class: Filipino Classics Made Easy, people will join Maricel as she guides them through making lumpia, pancit bihon, pancit molo, and Filipino fruit salad which are four dishes typically found at any Filipino party. Lumpia is a Filipino egg roll; pancit bihon is a noodle dish; pancit molo is a Filipino version of wonton soup; and the fruit salad is made with tropical fruits and milk. The session emphasizes the communal nature of Filipino dining, where food often serves as a centerpiece for social gatherings and family celebrations.
