Artists from East Brunswick and the surrounding area are invited to submit their work to the 14th annual Fine Arts Festival and Farmers Market.
The event, which will take place in a large outdoor park, attracts an audience from a wide area, maximizing the potential for exposure for those who take part. The show is juried, and provides artists with an opportunity to both exhibit their talents and also sell items they have created to the public.
Art from a wide range of categories will be accepted, including sculpture photography, graphic arts, painting, mixed media, and handmade fine crafts. Each participant who has been selected to take part will be allotted a 10x10’ space to display their works during the festival.
The event will take place on June 4, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, and all submissions for the contest must be made by no later than May 13. The entries that have been submitted will be assessed by a panel of judges, and as much as $2,000 in cash prizes will be distributed to the winners.
Students from grades 6- 12 are welcome to submit pieces to the show. These will be awarded ribbons by the judges. Items such as these can be custom designed for the event by a printing company.
