The organization, Executive Women of New Jersey, will be holding a dinner on May 17th. During this dinner, they will honor 36 female executives in the state of New Jersey.
The EWNJ was founded in 1980. Since then, it has championed the advancement of women into senior levels of corporations, not for profit organizations, and public service firms. The organization is so well known that Governor, Chris Christie will be serving as the honorary chairman at the dinner.
The event itself serves two purposes. Firstly, it will honor the recipients of this year's awards. Secondly, it will raise money for the EWNJ scholarship. This scholarship program has been very successful in the past, having given over $1 million dollars to 350 women enrolled in advanced degree programs.
In order for events, such as this, to meet their fund raising goals, they will need to sell a good number of tickets and secure sponsorship agreements. Similar companies have found success with this by using printing services to create a media kit. These media kits can contain information about the organization and event, as well as promotional material for the scholarship program. They can then be sent to businesses all over New Jersey and even further afield as far as New York. Smaller towns such as East Brunswick should also be targeted, as businesses in the area may want to support the cause. Organizations like this can save on printing costs by negotiating a bulk contract with their printer.
