Duct Tape is a common item in many household tool kits and junk drawers, and during an East Brunswick workshop, kids will be given a chance to put this versatile product to a whole new range of uses.
The Raritan Valley YMCA has organized a morning that will be devoted to helping kids explore the Wonders of Duct Tape. The participants will learn how they can use this colorful material in a variety of ways, ranging from making handbags and purses, to wallets and much more. The goal is to encourage them in creative play, as well as pride in their work and individual expression.
Each boy or girl will be able to design and then make an item of their choice. Once all the participants have competed their projects, they will be put on display for all to see and admire. Newsletter printing can be utilized by a facility such as this to create bulletins and other items that can keep the public up to date with the different activities it has organized.
This day that will be dedicated to the artistic use of duct Tape will be held on July 17 at the Raritan Valley YMCA, which is located at 144 Tices Lane in East Brunswick. Anyone who would like more information has been asked to call 732-257-4114 or visit the Y’s website for further details.
