East Brunswick to draw state's top chefs
Top chefs will come together to present the finest dishes in the state next month.
The 4th Annual Taste of the State will feature cuisine from top chefs representing some of the most recognized restaurants in New Jersey. The evening is organized as a fundraising effort to benefit Soup Kitchen 411 and its expanding programs aimed at addressing food insecurity across New Jersey.
Guests will experience an evening of fine dining, live entertainment, and a variety of beverages, including cocktails and champagne.
Raising the Bar: Bar Hunger Now, Soup Kitchen 411's most recent project, will be supported by Taste of the State proceeds. As an extension of the nonprofit's 'Neighbors Feeding Neighbors' purpose, this initiative distributes wholesome snack bars to communities experiencing food insecurity. More than 40,000 nutritious bars have been distributed by the program to food pantries, soup kitchens, and distribution hubs across New Jersey since it began. Brochure printing is one way to share details about upcoming events.
Soup Kitchen 411 first gained recognition during the COVID-19 pandemic with its FeedNJ program, which aimed to provide meals to individuals facing hunger while also supporting local restaurants that were economically impacted by the crisis.
