East Brunswick to celebrate Native American heritage

The community of East Brunswick is set to welcome the arrival of an event that will showcase aboriginal culture and heritage, and everyone is encouraged to be part of the celebration.

The Redhawk Native American Arts Council recently announced that the Raritan Native American Heritage Celebration and Pow Wow will be going ahead at the Middlesex County Fairgrounds this June. It will be a two-day event, and the planners can be reached at 718-686-9297.

The festivities will feature a Grand Entry of dancers in full regalia, twice each day, and dancing contests and other competitions will be held. Everyone is reminded to bring along portable seating. Outside food, drinks, alcohol, and coolers will not be allowed.

The activity is expected to draw at least 500 Native American artists, dancers and other performers coming in from all across the Americas. A vendor area and food service providers are also part of the plans for the celebration.

Organizing a large event is not always easy, and a printing services company will be happy to help shoulder the load. They can supply everything from vendor contracts to Banners, Brochures, and much more.

The event will be taking place at 655 Cranbury Road on June 17 and 18. Its Eventbrite listing can be consulted for more information and a chance to purchase tickets.
