East Brunswick online workshop to explore franchises

East Brunswick residents who are considering making the move to business ownership may want to include an upcoming workshop in their plans, as they look to explore a particular business model.

A webinar that will address the benefits of choosing a franchise is on the agenda for the local area. It will explore the topic from the ground floor up, and the goal is for each participant to decide if it is a good fit for them.

During the workshop, which will be facilitated by Boynton R. Weekes and Elayne P. McCaline, the registrants will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of choosing to undertake a franchise operation. They will also review how to mitigate the risks of doing so and find out what sorts of business options are out there. The registration fee for the activity is $15, and the function is on offer thanks to support from the New Jersey chapter of the National Association of Small Business Development Centers (NJSBDC).

Even though a workshop like this takes place online, the participants may still appreciate receiving kits of real-world learning materials. Items like these can be prepared by Print shops, which can include promotional Pens along with the educational items.

This introduction to the world of franchises will be offered on June 8. It will start at 10:00 am, and registration can be completed through the NJSBDC website.
