East Brunswick invited to take advantage of hazardous waste drop-off day

Disposing of hazardous household waste is a way the public can be good stewards of their local environment, and those who hail from East Brunswick are invited to take advantage of an offer open to residents of Middlesex County.

Middlesex County College in Edison will be the location for a drop off site for a variety of household waste that can’t go out in the regular trash. To help ensure everyone can participate safely, those who have items to dispose of are asked to place them in the truck bed, trunk or cargo area, and it will be removed by the staff on hand.

A variety of products will be accepted during the event, and these include everything from paint to thermostats, and cell phone batteries so long as they are properly bagged. Asbestos may be disposed of at the site, but the organizers have requested that anyone who would like to do this should contact them ahead of time.

This type of function can do a good turn for the local environment, and it also helps to keep the local community free of hazardous household waste. A poster printing company can prepare Signs that make the day go as smoothly as possible, and these can be used just once or over and over.

Middlesex County will be hosting this activity on November 15 at Middlesex County College. Drop-offs will be accepted starting at 8:00 am.
