East Brunswick fundraiser to offer fun for the whole family

An East Brunswick fundraiser will support both research into a condition, and the needs of those who live with it.

The Hemophilia Association of New Jersey has planned a fundraiser that will see the public run or walk to raise funds for the cause. It will take place rain or shine, and the whole family can join in.

Those who would like to take part can choose to run or walk, and the younger participants may want to register for the one-mile walk for those who are five and under. Each registrant will receive a T-shirt that boasts a graphic design prepared for the event, and there will be activities, entertainment and even a barbecue lunch waiting for everyone at the finish line to celebrate their completion.

To help make the function a success, the organizers have created for different ways for the public to get involved. They can run or walk by themselves, join an existing team or start one of their own, and even if they are not able to hit the pavement in person, they will still be able to donate to the cause.

The annual Hemophilia fundraiser has been rescheduled to November 8, and it will be organized at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center. Registration for the activity opens at 8:30 am.
