An East Brunswick program will create the latest crop of trained doulas that can provide expert support to expectant parents.
The approved training workshop will help future doulas prepare for the certification process, and it will continue to support former learners even after it is over. Offered by Your Best Birth, the successful students of this program will become part of a large network of individuals who can provide care and support during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
While there are a variety of programs for future doulas to choose from, its planners pointed out that this one will offer many perks. Breakfast is included in the registration fee, as are snacks . While much of the instruction will be centered on skill building, the business side will also be included, and the attendees will be encouraged to network and form connections that may be helpful to them in the future.
Each learner in this activity will receive a 150-page binder filled with information that may be helpful to them, and they will also be given some keepsake items to encourage them when the going gets tough.
