East Brunswick law enforcement professionals who would like to add some new items to their toolbox have been offered the chance to do so by taking part in a training opportunity in the local area.
Rutgers Police Department will be running a short course that will provide grounding in Internal Affairs Investigations : Complaint and Procedure Responsibilities. It is designed to be utilized by supervisors and command personnel who have departmental oversight as well as those tasked with performing internal affairs investigations, and it will run for two days.
The workshop will cover topics related to maintaining discipline within a police department, as well as ways the public has to address concerns they have with a particular officer. It will provide the learners with a framework they may find helpful for different situations that arise, and the registration fee for each attendee is $425.
The function is scheduled for the Public Safety Building of the Rutgers Police Department, and there are at least two nearby hotels that offer lodging. Bound Copies of texts, promotional Pens and other learning materials for a course will be available at a local printer.
This opportunity for police officers to add to their skill set when it comes to internal affairs is set for November 13th and 14th. The contact person is Jason Lisi, and he may be reached at (848) 932-4757.
