East Brunswick is a community known for its generous spirit, and this will be on full display during a “food raiser” that will help to ensure no one goes hungry.
The Replenish program is an initiative that works to address food insecurity in Middlesex County, and it recently put out a call seeking donations for its upcoming food drive. Everyone has been asked to be as generous as they can, and the collection stations will be set up in the local area.
Those who would like to contribute can stop by the Stop and Shop in Edison, Monroe, or East Brunswick, and they will all be collecting donations. It has been requested that only non-perishables in non-breakable Packaging be dropped off, and toiletries are also needed. A request has been made for low sodium and low sugar foods, but all help will be appreciated.
A drive can help to quickly fill a food bank’s shelves. A poster printing company can be tasked with preparing marketing materials for an event like this.
The Feed Our Families food drive will be making sure everyone in Middlesex County has enough to eat will be held on September 9th. Donations can be made at the collection stations between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. Cash contributions will also be welcome, and they can be made online.
