Folks in the East Brunswick area will be charting a course for fun when they attend a local event that will introduce them to the joys of wind-powered watercraft.
The Keyport Yacht Club has made plans to welcome the public for its open house, which will offer them a sneak peek into what it has on offer for its members. It is open to all ages, and one of the activities being highlighted is its summer camp series for kids ages 8 to 17.
Along with a chance to learn more about its summer camp options, attendees will be able to get their sea legs by stepping aboard one of the sailboats being moored for the occasion. They can also find out about adult learn-to-sail programs, as well as its opportunities for cruising and being part of social events. The waterside patio will be open, and anyone who has questions can direct them to membership@keyportyachtclub.com.
