An event that will kick off summer with huge floral displays will soon take place near East Brunswick, and a wide variety of species and cultivars of annuals will be the stars of the show.
The Edison Chamber of Commerce has invited one and all to head to the community’s Amboy Avenue this June to be part of its second annual Summer Flower Walk. While the floral displays may be the big draw for many, there is lots more on the agenda, and the listing explained that the Mayor and Town Council have supported the activity.
Visitors who attend the celebration will be treated to displays featuring more than 10,000 flowers, and everything from alyssum to zinnias will be in bloom. The festivities will also include music and other entertainment, along with craft beer and wine, and food will be on offer as well. Everyone can enjoy the causal atmosphere spread out over 10 blocks.
