East Brunswick area invited to golf fundraiser

The pleasant days of early June can be ideal for fun in the sun, and a fundraiser will give East Brunswick golfers an excuse to enjoy this for themselves.

The 23rd annual Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Company #3 Outing in Memory of Chief Tom Marvis is right around the corner, and the public is encouraged to either register to play, make a monetary contribution, or donate a gift in kind. Royce Brook Golf Club has been booked for the occasion, and the contact person for the activity can be reached at (203) 942-9674 .

The function will kick off in the morning, and once everyone has completed their sign in, they will be invited to mix and mingle over breakfast and coffee. The play will begin with a shotgun start, and lunch and cocktails will follow. A presentation of awards is scheduled for the afternoon, and the registration fee includes breakfast, green fees, the use of a cart, lunch awards, and other perks as well.

A golf fundraiser combines fun with raising both funds and awareness about a particular cause. Trophies, award certificates, and other customized materials can be prepared for special occasions by Stationery printers.

This day of fun out in the fresh air will begin at 7:15 am on June 5. The shotgun start to the play is scheduled for 8:30 am.
