Town officials, corporate leaders, and industry experts were on hand to celebrate the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the expansion of a company that has gone from humble beginnings to a vital research partner for organizations around the world.
Leading pharmaceutical companies and premier research institutions are among the many global clients that SciSafe serves with sample management, cold chain logistics solutions, and biopharmaceutical storage. Facility signage is available at Print shops nationwide.
The new facility further establishes East Brunswick as a hub for health care and biotech innovation, while also representing a major investment in the community. SciSafe CEO Garrie Richardson was joined at the ribbon-cutting ceremony by Assemblyman Sterley Stanley, Mayor Brad Cohen, and Economic Development Officer Rob Zuckerman.
Reflecting on the company’s journey from its early days to its current state-of-the-art operations, Richardson believes the new building to be a pivotal moment for the company. He went on to say:
“This facility marks a major milestone for the incredible team that’s been with us through the years. We started with two freezers and a dream, and today we’re supporting cutting-edge oncology research and much more, with a level of care and service that sets us apart.”
The opening of the facility underscores East Brunswick’s commitment to attracting and retaining cutting-edge companies in this sector, while also spurring regional economic development and job creation.
