Senior events for the holidays in Cherry Hill
Cherry Hill has remembered that the holidays can be lonely for some seniors, especially those who do not have family close by. The area will be making sure that there are plenty of activities for seniors to enjoy over Christmas and throughout the year. The 38th Senior Advisory Board holiday party will take place at the Holiday Inn on December 2 from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm. It will feature music, dancing, dinner, and prizes. Tickets are $15 for those with a gold card or $20. The party will be a chance for seniors in the community to get to know some of their neighbors and to share in the joy of the holidays.
The Senior Luncheon with the Arts will take place at the Croft Farm Arts Center on December 14, beginning at 10:00 am. It will feature a showing of The Sound of Music - a film that has become a favorite to be shown over the holidays. Tickets are $3 in advance or $5 on the day of the event.
No doubt the organizers of both events will be working with Cherry Hill printing companies to let seniors in the community know about these upcoming events. A flyer mailed to everyone of a certain age in the city would ensure that all of the seniors know about the plans.
