Monster convention comes to Cherry Hill
The event Monster-Mania Con was held in Cherry Hill, NJ on the 9th, 10th and 11th March. This event was designed to appeal to people who enjoy monster themed movies as well as the horror genre.
One of the more unique features of the event were the actors in costume. There were approximately 20 actors in costume at the event. Some of the costumes they wore included Leatherface and Darth Vader, to mention just a couple of the most popular.
In addition, the event was also attended by celebrities. Celebrities from shows such as the Walking Dead and True Blood were in attendance. Attendees were able to get autographs from these celebrities.
There were numerous activities at the convention. Visitors could watch horror movies, buy related products, such as DVDs and purchase autographed pictures of their favorite stars.
Most conventions are better off using printing services to promote their event. Even whilst this event has some very popular celebrity guests, organizers no doubt benefited from creating brochures and using flyer printing for promotional purposes to get the word out. They could have also placed ads on television and the radio. Using all of these mediums in conjunction with one another will increase the number of visitors to any event to the maximum allowed for safety reasons. Stars from shows like True Blood and Dexter will draw large crowds, making an exciting event for all concerned.
