Free concerts arranged in Cherry Hill
The annual Music Under the Stars concert series returns next month, offering free musical entertainment to residents of Cherry Hill.
Local mayor Susan Shin Angulo and the Cherry Hill Township Council have collaborated to bring the summer concert series to the community for the 2021 season.
Concerts will be held on Thursday evenings in July, beginning on the 6th with a Rat Pack Tribute Show, featuring emulators of Dean, Sammy, Frank, and even a special guest appearance by Marilyn Monroe. On July 13th, the city will host a Tribute to Elvis, played by Jesse Garon. A Tribute to Legacy follows on July 20th, and an Xtreme Queen Tribute rounds off July’s schedule on the 27th. Several food trucks will on site on the evening of each concert.
This year’s event is sponsored by Jefferson Health and the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. The 32-hospital cancer treatment organization has been conducting research studies, and improving patient outcomes, since it was established in 1991.
Cherry Hill Township is seeking future sponsors for their events, and this offers a way for business owners to increase brand awareness by connecting with the local community. A detailed sponsorship packet is available on the township’s website, but printing services may also be used to provide hard copies for interested business owners.
The Music Under the Stars concerts will be held at the Barclay Farmstead, located at 209 Barclay Lane. Concerts are provided free of charge, and will begin at 7:00 PM, weather permitting.
