Energy renewal found in compassion for animals
The Mindful Soul Center for Wellbeing in Medford will be hosting an anti-fatigue workshop at a local horse stable next month.
All caregivers from the surrounding area, including Cherry Hill, Mount Holly, and Maple Shade, are invited to attend.
The Untethered Mustang workshop was designed to help professional caregivers, including doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists, benefit from the restorative company of horses. Amanda Leone, an Equine Assisted Psychotherapist, will lead participants through a process of self-discovery and compassion.
The experience will include an opportunity to join the horses in the stables, allowing participants to find a safe environment to reflect on past events. The workshop will also help caregivers find new, personal energy within themselves and teach them how to maintain this new resource in their everyday lives. Organizers hope attendees will have their self-confidence restored and will leave feeling reinvigorated.
The Mindful Soul Center for Wellbeing hosts many events throughout the year, including mental health therapy for women and teens. Printing services may supply brochures with full details of the services provided by facilities like this.
Held at the Arrowhead Stables in Medford, participants do not need to have experience with horses. The family-owned farm, established in 1976, is located at 257 Hartford Road.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, April 17 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM, at a cost of $200 per person. Tickets can be purchased from the Eventbrite website.
