Christmas takes to the water in Cherry Hill
Christmas Underwater returns to the Adventure Aquarium, bringing aquatic entertainment for the holiday.
The celebration features an underwater Christmas tree, Scuba Santa Claus, snow showers, and special activities. The aquarium serves Cherry Hill and the surrounding town and cities.
This year, Scuba Santa swims among the aquarium creatures, sporting his red suit and long white beard, and takes selfies with kids of all ages. The panoramic window is the best place to observe him swimming.
The tallest underwater Christmas tree is on display again this year. Santa and his elves have decorated this and eight smaller trees. The underwater tree is decorated and made with coral from all over the world, as is adorned with shells, lights, and starfish.
Santa will be available for a dry visit with children and to have photos taken. On Saturdays, Milk and Cookies with Santa lets visitors see the museum and meet with the man himself.
Scuba Santa will have a dive show at the Ocean Realm Theater called “I Believe in Scuba Santa”. Every half hour, it will snow and children can enjoy a dance party.
Children can drop off letters to Santa in a special mailbox. Some businesses use promotional pens to promote special events like this.
Christmas Underwater will run from November 29 to December 30. Meanwhile, the marketplace at the Adventure Aquarium serves pizza, sandwiches, burgers, tacos, coffee, soft drinks, and ice cream.
