What's Happening in Cherry Hill, NJ…

Cherry Hill parents offered informative session

Children with cognitive, developmental, physical and other challenges can sometimes grow up to be adults with these same hurdles, and a Cherry Hill workshop can help parents and caregivers to navigate the days ahead.

Y.A.L.E. School has scheduled a session that will give parents, caregivers, educators, and others who are interested information that may be helpful to them in planning their child’s future. It is part of its larger informative Compass Transition Series, which offers both in-person and virtual events.

The function will see representatives from various government departments, as well as other subject matter experts, take to the podium to share their knowledge, and other aspects of transitioning to adulthood will be on the agenda. A light lunch will be served, and everyone can spend some time browsing in the resource fair and meeting local parents in similar circumstances.

Parents of children with needs may appreciate an opportunity to discover ways of helping their child prepare for the future. A brochure printing company may be tasked with preparing learning materials for an event like this.

This session will be focused on the middle school, high school days, and beyond, and will take place on Monday, February 12. The venue for the day will be located at 750 Marlton Pike West in Cherry Hill. It’s free to attend, and starts from 8:30am.
