Cherry Hill library extends hours open

As of October 5, the Cherry Hill library recently has extended its opening hours, and will offer virtual and in-person activities this fall.

The extended hours are Mondays and Wednesday, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and patrons are allowed 30 minutes per visit. Contactless pickup must be arranged by appointment, and social distancing is practiced.

Virtual Story Time will be held on November 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 10:00 am to 10:15 am via a link on their Cherry Hill Public Library Kids Page. Open to younger children, the librarians a read variety of children’s stories.

Virtual Rhyme Time will meet virtually on November 5, 12, and 19 from 10:00 am to 10:15 am via a link on the library’s Kids Page. The session is for young children focusing on rhyming stories and songs.

The Needlework Guild will have a virtual session on November 10 and 24 at 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm on Zoom. Participants can work on needlework, crocheting, or knitting projects. Registration is required and participants will receive a link via email.

Speaking of Poetry for adults over 18will meet on November 13 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm in the multicultural room. Participants will read and discuss poetry.

Finally, Writers Roundtable will meet for adults on November 18 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the board room main level. Participants of all skill levels will discuss and improve their writing skills. Print shops design Flyers and provide flyer printing for events like this.
