Cherry Hill kids to get cooking
Learning how to cook offers many benefits for kids that go well beyond making healthy meals, and Cherry Hill youngsters are invited to attend a Halloween-themed cookery class.
The Montessori Academy in Delran is set to host its Halloween cooking workshop, and it was noted that while it will be a hands-on session, the participants will not be working with sharp utensils or anything that could cause burns. Parents or guardians will drop off their child, and the registration fee is $29.99 each.
One of the goals of the activity is to show children how tasty and fun healthy food can be, and it will be using whole foods as the base for many of the dishes. The learning will take place over one and a half hours, and the venue is located at 28 Conrow Road.
By making learning fun, a function like this gives kids an opportunity to discover a new hobby and maybe even a future career. Booklets of basic recipes and kitchen tips may be prepared to give to each pupil by a brochure printing company so that they can continue cooking at home.
This spooky culinary activity for kids has been scheduled for October 24. It will start at 12:30 pm sharp, and anyone who would like to register their son or daughter is welcome to do so now.
